Google Now notifications coming to Chrome beta desktop

Once you start using Google Now, it seems like you can't live without it. Well, the big G wants to help with your addiction. Google has announced that Google Now notifications will be coming to Chrome beta starting this week. It was only a couple of weeks ago that Chrome Canary received this feature, so it's moving up the line fairly quickly. It shouldn't take long before we could see this getting into Chrome.

To view the notifications, click on the bell icon on your desktop (on Mac and Windows) or the numbered box (on Chromebook) to open the Chrome notification center.
